I Can’t Draw A Heart and Other Episodes
July 20, 21, 23, 27, 29 @ 8pm
Tix are $15 for adults, $10 for students/seniors, available now on the tickets page.
A one-woman show written, directed, and performed by Taylor Murphy-Sinclair. While training at UCLA’s school of Theatre Film & Television, one of Taylor’s professors encouraged her to think about the difference between “who you are and who people think you are.” Taylor decided she was going to do something to merge the two. I Can’t Draw A Heart and Other Episodes is an intensely emotional, autobiographical piece that shakes the boundaries of what people normally say in front of other people. It chronicles the ups, downs, loves, pain and total humiliation that 22 years on planet Earth has to offer. It’s about overstepping, over speaking, overdoing and learning to love yourself anyway. It’s an honest look at what it means to be who you are, where you are . . . and it’s sensationally moving.
**Monday night the 23rd is specifically for theater people that aren't able to come to a show during the weekend. For this performance all tickets are $10!!!**
